First Call Logistics is actively seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to establish lasting customer relationships and contribute to the positive trajectory of our rapidly expanding company.

Position: Sales Consultant (Full-time):

A successful First Call Sales Consultant designs effective, partner-specific logistics solutions to drive new business, maintain a portfolio of customers and scale existing accounts. From prospecting new partners to closing the deal, this consultative role will leverage FCL’s network, technology, processes and in-house industry experts to optimize customer supply chains.

Role Responsibilities

  • Seek out and contact prospective clients, update account notes, plan and execute meeting agendas and develop CRM deals.
  • Track and update pipeline opportunities through CRM.
  • Close sales and achieve monthly performance goals.
  • Act as primary customer contact, ensuring SOPs are created and executed by the customer support team.
  • Source new sales opportunities by meeting outbound call metrics and lead generation.
  • Identify key decision makers and arrange four monthly face-to-face meetings where applicable.
  • Earn 3-4 referrals from each customer in your portfolio.
  • As the customer’s source of industry knowledge, the ability to interpret data, speak to customer needs, and communicate business insights is required.
  • Lead RFP or bid opportunities.
  • Have fun while growing your sales and earning commission!

  • Consultative sales experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Excitement and enthusiasm for building relationships.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to use market data to educate customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to travel if necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
